In the Space user menu of the DBA Cockpit, you can find, among other things, displays about the sizes of class containers.
The current table sizes are determined by a report and saved in a database table which forms the history of table sizes and table growth. You can view this data in the Class Container Sizes user menu.
If necessary, you will have to determine the size of the class container. You have the following options to do this:
Schedule the action update class container statistics in the DBA planning calendar weekly. To schedule the action Update Class Container Statistics, proceed as described in Scheduling an Action.
You can update the class container sizes as a one-off. To do this, in the DBA Cockpit choose . Choose the Update Class Container Statistics function to start a background job that updates the sizes.
The class container sizes are determined. The measurement data is logged in the table SDBCCMS.
Once the sizes have been determined, you can display them as follows:
Open the DBA Cockpit (transaction DBACOCKPIT) and choose . You can choose the following displays, and can also display the information graphically:
Class Containers with Greatest Growth: You can set the comparison period, comparison interval, and the number of class containers displayed.
Largest Class ContainerYou can set the date and the number of class containers displayed.
The following functions are available:
Toggle Aggregated/Unaggregated View
History of a Class: Select the desired class.
Delete Statistics Data: Deletion can be done manually by specifying a time period/date or automatically by specifying a time period (in weeks).
Update Class Container Statistics: Note that the class container information is saved only once a day. Any older daily statistics are overwritten.
