Major Documentation Changes
New manuals in documentation version 7.7:
- Database Administration: This document explains the common tasks of a database administrator. Information about creating and configuring databases, monitoring, backing up and recovering, exporting and importing data, user administration, synchronizing several databases, carrying out performance analyses, searching for errors, and developing database applications is given.
- SAP MaxDB Database Studio: Database Studio is the new tool for administering SAP MaxDB databases. From database version 7.7, it replaces the database tools Database Manager GUI, SQL Studio, and Synchronization Manager, and it contains a GUI for the Loader tool.
