In the Tools user menu of the DBA Cockpit you can find, among other things, a display of the information for runtime analysis of database bottlenecks detected when using the XCONS database tool (database console).

Procedure

  1. Open the DBA Cockpit (transaction DBACOCKPIT) and select   Tools   Database Console  .

  2. Select the required command. There are commands available for obtaining information from a wide range of different areas, for example, disk accesses, process analysis or memory management.

  3. Choose   Database Console   Execute Command  .

Result

The required information is retrieved from the database console and immediately displayed on the screen. You can save the results as a local file.

SYSMON Tables

If the database is in the ONLINE operational state, you can display the SYSMON tables. To do so, choose   Goto   SYSMON Table Display  .

Example Example

Displaying information about critical sections:

Choose   Goto   SYSMON Table Display  . Enter table name SYSMON_REGION.
