Data Encryption 
Use
The database system can encrypt the data transferred between the client (database tool or database application) and the X Server using SSL/TLS.
Data encryption is available in SAP systems only.
Prerequisites
You have configured your SAP system for SSL/TLS encryption. For more information, see the installation guide (see Download).
Activities
To encrypt the data transmitted in a database session, select the corresponding option when you log on.
