In the Space user menu of the DBA Cockpit, you can find, among other things, displays about the sizes of class containers.

The current table sizes are determined by a report and saved in a database table which forms the history of table sizes and table growth. You can view this data in the Class Container Sizes user menu.

Procedure

Determining Statistical Data

If necessary, you will have to determine the size of the class container. You have the following options to do this:

  • Schedule the action update class container statistics in the DBA planning calendar weekly. To schedule the action Update Class Container Statistics, proceed as described in Scheduling an Action.

  • You can update the class container sizes as a one-off. To do this, in the DBA Cockpit choose   Space   Class Container Sizes  . Choose the Update Class Container Statistics function to start a background job that updates the sizes.

The class container sizes are determined. The measurement data is logged in the table SDBCCMS.
