In the Statistics user menu of the liveCache Assistant, you can find, among other things, displays for the sizes of class containers.

The current table sizes are determined by a report and saved in a database table which forms the history of table sizes and table growth. You can view this data in the Class Container Sizes user menu.

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept.

Determining Statistical Data

If necessary, you will have to determine the size of the class container. You have the following options to do this:

  • Schedule the action update class container statistics weekly in the DBA planning calendar. To schedule the action Update Class Container Statistics, proceed as described in Scheduling an Action.

  • You can update the class container sizes as a one-off. To do this, in the user menu of the liveCache Assistant, choose   Statistics   Class Container Sizes   (in the user menu of the DBA Cockpit:   Space   Class Container Sizes  ) and choose the function Update Class Container Statistics, to start a background job that updates the sizes.

The class container sizes are determined. The measurement data is logged in the table SDBCCMS.
