The standard Web Server is defined or changed once for the SAP system in the liveCache Assistant.

This Web Server then applies for all users that have not chosen their own server by Selecting a Web Server.


In accordance with the Authorization Concept, the user was assigned one of the roles SAP_BC_LVC_ADMINISTRATOR or SAP_BC_LVC_SUPERUSER. You can reach the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to his or her role.


  1. In the user menu, choose liveCache Assistant (transaction LC10).

  2. Choose   Utilities   Standard Web Server  

  3. Enter the name of the Web Server.

You can also define or change the standard Web Server by executing the report RSSDBWEB interactively (transaction SE38).


The standard Web Server is set. This setting is required in particular for calling the Web DBM through the Tools user menu.
