You are loading the demo data used for the examples in the SAP MaxDB documentation. You can load this demo data to any database.

Prerequisites

You are logged on to the database as a database system administrator or DBM operator with server authorization for using the Loader or loading system tables.

Procedure

  1. Select the database in the explorer tree.

  2. In the context menu of the database, choose   Administration Tasks   Load Tutorial...  

  3. Select Load.

Result

Once you have loaded the demo data, example tables and other database objects are located in the HOTEL schema. The database user MONA (password RED) is the owner of the HOTEL schema and its objects. The tables are filled with demo data.
