When you execeute this comannd, the data from the specified data volume is distributed to the remaining data volumes. The then empty data volume is deleted and the resources that were previously used by the data volume are released. Data volumes of the FILE type are deleted from the file system.
You can delete data volumes as long as there are several data volumes available. However, the last data volume of a database cannot be deleted.
The system does not support the deletion of log volumes.
You have the server permission ParamFull or AccessUtility.
The database is in the ONLINE operational state.
