The Database Assistant can be used for database administration in CCMS and replaces the database monitor from older releases.

If you need to, you can call the database monitor with transaction code ST04; but it is only offered now for reasons of compatibility. If you call the database monitor, you will automatically be offered the features of the Database Assistant or of the DBA Cockpit.
