For a database copy of a MaxDB (OLTP) database instance, the processor architecture of the source computer must be compatible with that of the target computer.
Database instance type SAP liveCache: both the processor architectures and the operating systems of the source and target computer have to be identical, and the same database procedures have to be used on both computers.
The data carriers used in generating a database copy must also be compatible.
