Open source users can change and translate the source code of the MaxDB database software themselves.

Process Flow

1. You install the MaxDB development environment.

2. You download the source code of the MaxDB database software from the MaxDB website.

3. You install the source code.

4. You initialize the development environment, change the source code and translate it with the VMAKE tool.
