Deleting all Rows in a Table 

Prerequisite

You need to have the required user authorizations.

For an explanation of user authorizations, see the Database users section of the Concepts of the Database System documentation.

Procedure

...

       1.      In Catalog Manager, select the table whose rows you want to delete.

       2.      Choose Catalog Manager ® Delete All Rows

If you delete the rows of a synonym, you also delete the rows of the original database table.
