Log Queue 
The log queues are working memory areas used by the database system for redo log entries. Later, the database system writes the redo log entries from the log queues to the log area.
You can configure the number of log queues with the special database parameter LOG_QUEUE_COUNT and the size of the log queues with LOG_IO_QUEUE.
