You can simplify the way you create the configuration file for Backint for SAP MaxDB by using the following example and adjusting it to suit your needs.

If you do not want a certain parameter to be set by the parameter file, you must invalidate or delete the relevant keyword.

If successful, Database Manager waits for a maximum of 600 seconds to quit Backint for SAP MaxDB.

If you do not define this value, the system uses the default value of 300 seconds.

TIMEOUT_FAILURE

If errors occur, Database Manager waits for a maximum of 400 seconds to quit Backint for  SAP MaxDB.

If you do not define this value, the system uses the default value of 60 seconds.

ORIGINAL_RUNDIRECTORY

C:\SAPDB\wrk\CUSTOMERDB

The run directory of the original database is C:\SAPDB\wrk\CUSTOMERDB.
