In the system tables of a database, the system stores information about database objects and their relationships to each other, database states, statistics, database operation, and database settings.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged on to the database as a database system administrator or DBM operator with server authorization for using the Loader or loading system tables.

  • The database is in the ONLINE operational state.

Procedure

  1. Select the database in the explorer tree.

  2. In the context menu of the database, choose   Administration Tasks   Load System Tables  .

  3. If necessary, enter the name and password of the database system administrator.

  4. To open the dbm.ins log file after the update, select the Open installation log after upgrade system tables checkbox.

  5. Choose Load.
