This DBM command is normally executed by the system. Only use this command if you are instructed to do so by technical support.

Use this command to delete the version entry and the path information for the version–dependent server software from the list of registered versions of the database software.

Afterwards, the database software does not fully function any more.

Prerequisites

  • You have called Database Manager CLI with the option -R.

  • You are logged on to the operating system (see user_system).

You do not need to log on to Database Manager to execute this DBM command.

You do not require any server permission.

Example

Call Database Manager CLI, use the -R option to specify the installation path, and unregister this software version:
