In the Space Management display of the liveCache Alert Monitor, you can find data such as information about the free memory space in the main memory area.

Prerequisites

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept.

Procedure

Open the liveCache Alert Monitor. Choose   Space Management   Memory  .

Default for Alerts

Data Cache Usage – total

Yellow alert: if the usage in the data cache exceeds 90% Red alert: if the usage in the data cache exceeds 99%

Data Cache Usage – OMS Data

Yellow alert: if the usage in the data cache exceeds 90%.

Red alert: if the usage in the data cache exceeds 99%.

Data Cache Usage – SQL Data

Yellow alert: if the usage in the data cache exceeds 95%.

Red alert: if the usage in the data cache exceeds 99%.

Data Cache Usage – History/Undo

Yellow alert: if the usage in the data cache exceeds 40%.

Red alert: if the usage in the data cache exceeds 50%.

Out of Memory Exceptions

Information about whether the following event of the OMS intermediate layer and the liveCache basis layer has occurred for one or more of the database procedures

Yellow alert: if the event has occurred for at least one of the database procedures. In this case, the number of OutOfMemoryExceptions is totaled for all database procedures and this total is displayed. Green alert: if no OutOfMemoryExceptions have occurred.

OMS Terminates

Number of OMS terminations since the last measurement (15 minutes ago)

Red alert: if an OMS termination occurred.

Heap Usage

Yellow alert: if the usage in the OMS heap exceeds 80 %

Red alert: if the usage in the OMS heap exceeds 90 %.

Heap Usage in KB

No default alert level. Configure an appropriate value for the size of your main memory.

Maximal Heap Usage in KB

Maximum usage of the OMS heap (in KB)

System Heap in KB

Size of the system heap (in KB)

Parameter OMS_HEAP_LIMIT (KB)

Setting of parameter OmsMaxHeapSize
