The DROP TABLE (alter_table_statement) SQL statement is known in SAP MaxDB, but with the following syntax restrictions:
All synonyms and view tables based on the table are dropped in SAP MaxDB.
Specifying CASCADE CONSTRAINTS has no effect in SAP MaxDB.
