You can use the Database Manager GUI to change the password of the database system administrator (SYSDBA user).
The database instance is in the ONLINE operational state.

The database system automatically converts passwords into upper-case letters.
Choose one of the following procedures:

1. Choose Instance ® Configuration ® DBM Operator... .
2. Select the database system administrator.
3. Choose Properties.
4. Select the tab page General and then choose Password Change.
5. Enter the old and new passwords and save your entries.
6. Choose Instance ® Configuration ® Database User... .
7. Enter the name and password of the database system administrator.
8. Select the database system administrator.
9. Choose Properties.
10. Select the tab page General and then choose Password Change.
11. Enter the old and new passwords and save your entries.
The password of the database system administrator is changed.
