Activating Debug Mode 

Use

You can activate debug mode for individual module files.

Procedure

You can use the following methods to activate debug mode for module files:

·        -e Option for Calling VMAKE

·        VMAKE_OPTION Parameter e

·        debug|d option for description files

Result

·        The object files that are created from these module files contain additional debug information.

·        The module files are copied to the version-specific debug directory $WRK/<version>/debug, from where they can be used for subsequent troubleshooting.
