Managing the Database System Administrator 

You can use the Database Manager GUI to manage the database system administrator (SYSDBA user).

Activities

The database system administrator (SYSDBA user) is generated when the database instance is created.

You can perform the following administration tasks with the Database Manager GUI:

·        Changing the DBM Operator Properties of the Database System Administrator

·        Changing the Password of the Database System Administrator

·        Changing the Server Authorizations of the Database System Administrator

·        Changing the SQL User Properties of the Database System Administrator
