Changing the Password of a Database Manager Operator 

You can use the Database Manager GUI to change the passwords of Database Manager operators (DBM oparators).

Prerequisites

The user has the User Management server authorization.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Instance ® Configuration ® DBM Operator... .

       2.      Select a DBM operator.

       3.      Choose Properties.

       4.      Select the tab page General and then choose Password Change.

       5.      Enter the old and new passwords and save your entries.

Note the Conventions for User Names and Passwords. The database system automatically converts passwords into upper-case letters.

Result

The password of the DBM operator is changed.
