Installations/Updates with SDBINST 

Use

You use the SDBINST program to install or update component groups, installation profiles of the database software on Linux. The program queries all necessary information during the installation process.

If you have already installed the database system on your server with the Red Hat Package Manager (installation with rpm package), then you can now use this program only for subsequent installations and updates.
You cannot use the SDBINST program for other installations and updates (installation with tgz package).
