Creating a Database Instance

Prerequisites
You have installed the database software.
Procedure
...
1. Open the program SDBSETUP.exe to start the Installation Manager.
2. Choose Start Installation/Upgrade
3. Follow the instructions of the Installation Manager.
4. On the Choose installation type screen, choose the option Install Software and create database instance.
5. Keep following the instructions of the Installation Manager.
Result
The database instance and the database-specific directories have been created.
