Displaying Database Parameters 

In the Database Manager GUI, you can display all the database parameters, as well as a chronological list of all changes made to these parameters.

Procedure

...

       1.      Select the required database instance in the list of database instances.
Connect to the DBM server for this database instance if necessary.

       2.      Choose Instance ® Information ® Parameters.

       3.      The display of the database parameters is divided into the following sections:

¡        General: Displays the general database parameters

¡        Extended: Displays the special database parameters

¡        Support: Displays the support parameters

¡        History: You can use the parameter history to find out when a parameter setting was changed, and check the old and current values of the parameter. In addition, user-defined comments for the individual parameters are displayed in the history.
