You can use this option in processing lists, link descriptions, and compilation descriptions.

If the name of a module file does not follow the naming conventions, and if the system cannot determine the corresponding layer as a result, the layer that was specified with the ? defaultlayer : <layer> option is accessed.

To delete this default value for a layer, use the ? defaultlayer : option.
